You may have noticed your RosterBot Dashboard layout has changed - and because we know some people are a little hesitant when it comes to re-learning how to do certain things - we wanted to outline how to find your way around this new redesign.
The goal of this redesign is to require less navigation and fewer clicks to allow both managers and players to see when they play next, create new events and much more.
Finding your next event
You can find the next event you have scheduled at the top of the Dashboard now. You can quickly RSVP for the event by using the toggle. Or you can click on the Event Card to view the complete event page.
Finding other future events
Above the top right corner of your Next Event Card you will see an arrow pointing right. This arrow is a button which when clicked will change your Event Card to the next event (chronologically) you have scheduled. If you are a member of multiple teams, the next event will be the next one on the calendar for all your events.
Creating New Events
There is now a card available to managers, which allows you to start creating an event directly from the Dashboard. Select the team you want to create this event for and fill in the name of the event then click 'Create'. You will then be directed to finish inputting your next event's information.
Any team you are actively a member of is listed beneath the 'Teams' headline, on the left side of the Dashboard. If you are not currently seeing any teams, you are not an active member of any roster.
Creating A Team
If you are not a member of team, you may wish to create one. You can do that by using the Create Team card. To start just fill in the name of your team and click 'Create'. You will then be forwarded to the Create Team page.
Find A Team
If you know your team is currently on RosterBot but you are not seeing it listed on your Dashboard, you can search for the team using the Find a Team tool. Type in your team's activity and click 'Search'. RosterBot will insert your current location and provide you with a list of all teams in your area playing that activity. You can narrow down the search by filling in more filterable information.
Or if you don't have a team and want to apply to a new team, you can use this tool to find a team playing your sport. Browse through team's in your area and when you find one that seems like a good fit, send your application in. The team's manager will receive it and you will be notified when they have made their decision.
